Pilates &
FAMO Fascia Movement®

FAMO Fascia Movement® is a wonderful complement to Pilates. Slings training is mat-based and can be enriched by the use of massage balls or other supportive props.
FAMO is short for Fascia Movement which portrays the training of the body-wide interconnectedness of muscles and fascia in the body. It's based on new findings in fascia research and movement science.
The balance of both muscle and fascia-focussed training provides internal support, energy efficiency and adaptability to different life circumstances. The combination of FAMO® and Pilates optimizes structural balance in the body which improves your athletic performance and functional movement in daily life.
Two major goals of muscle-focussed Pilates combined with fascia-focussed FAMO are movement freedom and love of movement.
Movement freedom is quality of life and the love of movement is the best medicine!
I'm certified by art of motion Academy to teach FAMO® Fascia Movement personal training sessions and group classes, and to integrate fascia-focused movement to complement Pilates.
I incorporate FAMO® exercises into all of my current classes.
On Saturday's I teach a signature class that incorporates Pilates with fascia movement, functional foot exercises and play-based balance called STRONG FEET, STRONG CORE, STRONG BALANCE.
Class runs Saturdays 10-11am GMT/BST .
Blocks of 3, 6 and 12 classes are available.
